About us

Advancing public understanding of the health benefits of fermented soy.

About Us

Fermented Soy Research Group is a collaborative initiative dedicated to advancing public understanding of the health benefits of fermented soy through science-backed education and transparent research.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between traditional nutrition and modern clinical science, providing accessible insights into how fermented soy products—like natto, miso, and nitrogen-fermented extracts—support human health. From cardiovascular and cognitive function to immune resilience and hormonal balance, we focus on translating peer-reviewed studies into practical knowledge for everyday wellness.

Our Story

The Fermented Soy Research Group was founded from personal experience and scientific curiosity. One of our founding members was diagnosed with cancer—and during their integrative recovery journey, they discovered Haelan 951, a clinically studied, nitrogen-fermented soy beverage. What began as a last-resort addition to their healing protocol became a turning point in their recovery. After learning of the thousands of people that had experienced the incredible health benefits of nitrogen fermented soy and had amazing recoveries, he needed to dig in more.

Driven by this experience, our team began to explore the deeper scientific mechanisms behind fermented soy—from its role in cellular repair to immune modulation and inflammation control. What we uncovered was a rich body of underappreciated research and a major opportunity to make this knowledge more accessible.
